Vaani Greens Wildlife Resort Kaziranga

The staff, from the gatekeepers to housekeeping, were polite and genuinely helpful. The dome tent itself, though, wasn't what we expected for 18000+ a night for two adults and one 8-year-old, booked through MMT. We went mainly to try the tent, and came away disappointed. At that price, the property offered just the tent, with no TV or fridge, and no especially nice view. The plastic material made it smell, and there was mould on the wooden flooring inside and around the outside, with tiny mushrooms growing nearby. I also felt uneasy in bed because a heavy, pointed chandelier hung right above it and swung whenever someone walked around the room. Food was very expensive, more than double what we'd seen at hotels, restaurants, or resorts in the same category. It's also far from the main safari area. For 18000+, I expected more of the basics.

A really nice place to unwind with family. Our room was comfortable and clean, the staff were helpful and polite, and the food tasted fresh. I'd recommend staying here.

There are plenty of things to do around the property, including boating, cycling, badminton, table tennis, the gym, and the swimming pool. We also really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which was a highlight. The place was clean and well looked after, with friendly employees and great service throughout our stay. We had a fantastic time and would definitely come back.

We went on four safaris during our three-day stay, and they were great. Orchid park is a must-see and can be paired with a safari from the kohara gate since they're in the same area. The kids loved the tea plantation and getting to see tea plucking. We also had a nice Pooja session with the pandit at the onsite mandir, and my massage was very relaxing. The setting among the tea plantations is beautiful, the service is great, and the food was amazing. You can use the bikes to ride around the property. It was a lovely, quiet getaway.
