The owner was so kind, helpful, and easy to deal with, which made the stay feel comfortable. I booked through Booking.com for one night and found the room tidy and well cared for. The beach is very close, and A2B is only about 100 meters away. A handy, comfortable choice for a Pondicherry trip, whether on a weekend or weekday.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and all the basic facilities worked as they should. I found the room clean and looked after, with a comfortable bed and a calm, restful feel. I was satisfied with my stay and would recommend this lodge.

Even though we had confirmed our arrival time and train number by phone the day before, the hotel cancelled our reservation, saying they had found other customers. I had booked two rooms for two nights through booking.com more than three months ahead, and they had called us to confirm the day before we arrived. I wouldn't recommend a place that handles bookings so unprofessionally.

Nest Budget Hotel (Nest Budget Hotel) in the MG Road area of Puducherry was a pleasant place for a budget stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and willing to help. There is no parking, which could be a hassle if you're driving, but otherwise I had a good experience.

Rock beach is close by, and getting to shops or other parts of the city is easy from this spot in white town. The room is compact but works for two adults, and the staff are friendly. A good option if you want a budget stay.
