The Old City

We booked five rooms for one night. The manager, Mr. Gunasekaran, handles guest relations very professionally, and the property is kept very neat. A few things were missing at first: bathmats, soap, and water bottles. The shift person brought them quickly when we asked. In the 4th-floor rooms, the shower had no water pressure and the toilet flush wasn't working, though they did fix the flush. I liked the hotel overall and would definitely stay again.

The manager was kind and helpful, and even arranged an auto for us to get around, which made the trip much easier. I had a wonderful stay. The room was amazing and comfortable, and the shower was really nice. A pleasant experience, and I'd definitely recommend this place.

The location is handy for the main temples, and for one night the room did the basics: AC, hot water, towels, and bottled water. The shower was good too. But the tariff felt far too high for such a small room, even with AC. There was little space in either the room or bathroom, and no kettle, though a tea stall is just a few steps outside. The reception area had no proper seating and only a few chairs. We had to ask for a chair and soap, and there's no soap or body wash in the bathroom. If you need a hot drink or a bucket and mug after checking in, there's only a slim chance anyone will come, as staff aren't there at all times. It's fine if all you need is an AC room in the town centre for a night's sleep, but the price should be much lower for the facilities offered.

We booked an AC room for four for the night. The room and beds were neat and clean, and the bathroom had very new equipment. The atmosphere was super, the service really superb, and it was worth the money.
