Green Park residency

We came as a family from Asia and had one of our worst hotel stays. The safety issues were especially troubling: I got an electric shock while plugging in a charger in one room, and another bathroom had a large hole in the toilet area that felt unsafe and unhygienic. It seemed like insects or small animals could get in. Cleanliness and upkeep were poor throughout. The rooms were extremely dirty, with dust everywhere and no proper cleaning, and one room had a strong urine smell. When we reported the problems, staff were unhelpful and took no proper action. They didn't seem concerned about guest safety or comfort. This hotel lacks basic cleanliness, maintenance, and responsible service. I strongly don't recommend it, especially for families or groups.

The room was nowhere near worth the price. What they charged for a non AC room could get me a deluxe room in the heart of kozhikode. There was hardly any proper lighting, no kettle for hot water, and no toiletries beyond a coin-sized soap. The bedsheets and towels were dirty, and the corridor had no lights. The staff were cordial and helpful, but the rooms are overhyped and overpriced.

We stopped for one night on a road trip from Goa to Kochi. Our family room was spacious, clean, and well lit, with good furniture, a queen-sized bed, and two extra cots. I thought it was a good stay, though the price felt high, as it does in most places. It's close to a busy road and the railway station, so noise may be an issue if you're sensitive to it.

The complimentary breakfast and restaurant food were the only good parts. The food was gud. The room, though, was pathetic and smelled strongly of dust. I had booked almost 10 days ahead, and the location is very close to the railway station, but the sheets hadn't been changed and the pillows were dusty. When I asked for fresh sheets, the room attendant seemed arrogant, though they eventually changed them. The washroom was a disaster and there were no toiletries. I won't go back.
