Redrose Service Apartments

The flat was spacious for the price and well furnished, with clean beds and toilets. We stayed two nights and found it comfortable and good value, though you can't expect three-star services even at that sort of cost. Since it's a serviced apartment, some things were lacking. The lift was unavailable much of the time, with small children misusing it given as the reason. The main doors are closed at night, so when we needed to return late after a meeting or function, we had to wake the caretaker or proprietor. There's no restaurant, but they take orders from a nearby hotel and deliver them to the room.

Once we arrived, my doubts about booking a service apartment faded. The two-bedroom apartment was clean and right in Kannur town, and it felt especially suited to two families travelling together. It has a kitchen with all facilities, plus AC in both bedrooms and the living room, and the rooms were kept very clean. We could relax and feel at home there with the family. I found it online while looking for a place for our trip to muzupilangadu beach and bakel fort. I'd had bad experiences with service apartments before, and we booked this one only because our late planning left few other options. I'm glad we did.

The management team was cooperative and helped us figure out places to visit and good restaurants. They even provided a separate washroom for our driver, which we hadn't expected, and he was happy with the treatment. We stayed two days with family and friends in a very good flat, with spacious rooms, a dining hall, living room, and kitchen. It was a pleasant stay.

We had a great stay with hosts Mr Sasi and Vikas, and they serve good homely food on order, better than restaurants I'd eaten at outside. The rooms were clean, and the place sits right on national highway 14 with very good, safe parking.
