The Jaisal Desert safari camp

A family-friendly place with very friendly staff who respond quickly to questions and confirmations. It’s a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a desert safari, with reasonable prices and great quality. The cultural program was good too.

Nothing worked from the time we arrived. There was no toothpaste, hot water, or even basic drinking water. The bathroom was filthy, the taps were dry, and the bucket looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The sheets were dirty, the rooms smelled awful, and the electricity kept cutting out. Staff were rude, careless, and not interested in helping. They ignored our complaints as if we weren’t there. The place felt unsafe, unhygienic, and badly managed, and staying here ruined the whole trip. If you value your money, health, or peace of mind, never book this place. An absolute disaster.

The traditional cultural program was especially attractive and enjoyable, and the food was tasty and hygienic. We were here with family at this very good desert fort resort, and all of us enjoyed it a lot. Staff at every level were cooperative and well behaved.

The sunset views over the dunes made the stay feel especially peaceful, and the evening cultural show and desert safari were highlights we won't forget. Our room was roomy, spotless, and decorated with Rajasthani details. The staff were kind and always happy to help, and dinner was delicious, especially the local dishes. Desert Fort Resort has a lovely mix of comfort and traditional desert character, and worked well for a family holiday or weekend break.
