Fabhotel The Palacio

I had to leave as soon as I got there, but they kept my money and gave no refund. They charged 12000, which is very expensive. The room in Kanpur was in awful shape, with spit marks on the walls, a stained mattress, and pillows and sheets with holes and cigarette stains. There were insects all around, and the bathroom was rusty and very dirty. The worst hotel.

There was noise in the corridor until 2:00 a.m., and a drunk person was sitting at reception. Inside the room, cockroaches were crawling on the floor, walls, and in the bathroom. The room itself was very dirty, so I asked the hotel staff to clean it. The pillow cover was still dirty, even after I asked them to replace it, and the bedsheet and blanket were both torn and dirty. I wouldn’t recommend this property.

There’s no restaurant, and the photos don’t reflect what you find here. My room was small and dirty, the washroom and bedding were dirty too, and there were lots of cockroaches. I paid 1500, but this place wasn’t worth even 700rs. An awful experience.

My booking was for 12, but there wasn’t a room available then. I only got one at 2, and it was in a very dirty condition. A really bad experience.
