Fabhotel The Villa

I stayed here with my son and brother, and even basics like drinking water, towels, tea, and coffee weren’t available. There was no breakfast either. If you push them, they’ll order it from outside. The toilets were very dirty, and the actual hotel was nowhere near as clean, classy, or neat as the photos made it look. There’s no safe parking, either. Even a charitable shelter or charitable place to stay would be more courteous and sensible.

We came from Delhi and were told there was car parking, but found none when we arrived. The rooms we got were on the terrace and in very poor condition. One door handle was broken, the beds were wet, and there was just one wet, torn towel for one person. The blankets were poor quality, there was no WiFi or bottled water, and the bathroom flush didn’t work. During check-in they demanded full payment right away, and their manner was arrogant. They also warned that if anything broke, they would charge us for it. I think railway platforms are better than this place. Don’t visit, even by mistake.

I booked an executive room, but the staff said all the rooms were the same, and they weren’t well maintained. Before going out on the first day, I asked them to clean the bathroom and room. When I got back, they hadn’t done it and told me to wait at reception until they finished cleaning. Breakfast was included, but they offered only toast and tea or coffee, saying a staff member was on leave. There were no other options, and service was very slow. The hotel has no restaurant or kitchen service. On the last two nights, they switched off the AC after 2 p.m. A horrible stay. The room wasn’t worth Rs 1800 a night.

The booking through the official Fabhotel website was first denied by the woman at reception, who said they no longer took online bookings. After I contacted the Fabhotel hotline, they accepted it straight away. The whole thing took 30 minutes, and credit to Fabhotel for acting quickly. The rooms looked decent, but the washrooms were in terrible, unhygienic condition, with cockroaches you can see in the videos. Don’t order food from the hotel. There are plenty of good, much cheaper restaurants within walking distance, and I don’t understand why a hotel wouldn’t allow outside food.
