Check-in was smooth, and the staff were polite and helpful. Food was affordable, with a good range of choices. There were no toiletries at all, though, and the room had dust in every corner. It wasn’t so dirty that I felt I had to complain, but the bathroom wasn’t very clean either. Just okay.

The in-house canteen was a big plus. You can order whatever you like, and the food is good. It’s all vegetarian, which is great for vegetarians and gives peace of mind about purity. There was good privacy and my own space without disturbance. For this price range, I think it’s the best hostel or hotel near Kanpur Central Railway Station, with service and hospitality that stand out from other nearby options. The staff were genuinely warm and humble. The place is nice, very clean throughout, and the staff are polite and make you feel comfortable and looked after. Great value for money, highly recommended.

The TV didn’t work, and the room, toilet, bed, and pillow were all in poor condition. This was my third bad experience. I’d also paid an early check-in fee, so I really disagree with this service. I do appreciate that reception acted right away to get the room cleaned, but for what they charge, it still isn’t worth the money.

The hotel is down in a basement, like a bunker. The bed was so uncomfortable that I couldn’t sleep all night, and a tap kept dripping in the bathroom all night too. Don’t be fooled by the front photo, it’s a trap.
