Super OYO 77736 Hotel Starlight

Although I'd booked and paid online, they refused to give me a room when I arrived. The room itself was good, but the service and staff were very poor. The receptionist was unprofessional and uncooperative. A very disappointing, bad experience at the front desk.

The room was spacious and the washroom was comfortable to use, but the hotel wasn't worth what it cost. Cockroaches were everywhere, the room hadn't been cleaned properly, and the quilt cover was filthy inside. The toilet seat and cupboard were dirty too. There weren't enough clothes hangers at first, but they provided two on request for our three guests and one child. No electric kettle was available for warm water or making tea and coffee. Service was poor, the outside location was dirty, and the receptionist's behavior wasn't good. Zero stars on every measure.

The staff didn't seem to care when I complained, and offered neither a solution nor an apology. The bathroom was filthy, with mold on the walls and dripping taps. Inside the room, there was a horrible musty smell, dirty sheets, and broken furniture. Cockroaches were crawling across the floors and bathroom, and even in the bed. This was one of the worst places I've stayed. If cleanliness, comfort, and basic hygiene matter to you, avoid Collection O Starlight. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The location was noisy and unpleasant, so getting a good night's sleep was impossible. The advertised amenities were missing or broken, and there's no kitchen of their own. If you order through them, they charge extra and the food is overpriced. The room was filthy, with dirty sheets and a foul smell; the bathroom had mold on the tiles and a shower that didn't work. Staff were rude and unprofessional, ignoring our complaints and request to change rooms. One of the worst stays I've had. I'd tell people to look elsewhere and save their money and sanity.
