Shalimar Guest House

There are plenty of food choices near Shalimar Guest House, at low prices, though the quality is average. The guest house is within walking distance of the railway station, and rooms or dormitory beds are easy to get for a cheaper price. The rooms are very small for what they cost and have no facilities. Even the toilets are tiny, like storage rooms.

We were already on the train when they called and said there was a problem with the room, asking us to cancel. They had confirmed our booking through MakeMyTrip despite having no rooms available. After we cancelled, they refused to refund the payment and threatened us. Don't trust them or book here. They are cheaters.

A really bad stay. The room was tiny, the AC barely worked, and there wasn't proper hot water. The washroom was very small, the towel wasn't clean, and there was water leaking. No rack or shelf either. This is only a place to sleep if you have no other option.

I left the room because the AC wasn't working, then asked for my advance payment back. They had taken the money for an AC room, but wouldn't refund it and abused me. The management cheated us. I wouldn't book this guest house, it was a terrible experience.
