OYO 12349 Imperial Plus

It was a business trip, and I'd tell people to avoid this hotel. The staff and manager didn't seem capable of doing their jobs. Don't order from the restaurant, which is run by a different owner. They added extra charges to our bill, then asked us to pay online so we couldn't see the actual food bill. At checkout I asked to see it and found they had charged an extra 516 rupee. I tried to reach the OYO hotel manager, but she didn't speak to me. After we started arguing, they refunded the amount. Things got held up in the middle more than 20 times in a day. When I asked about it, they said, "Sir, it's a management issue."

The view was nice, but the blinds were broken and I couldn't open the windows. Inside, the sheets were covered in yellow stains, and rainwater covered the floor while the bathroom ceiling leaked badly. There weren't any room keys. When I asked, staff told me to leave the room open whenever I went out. Seriously? The morning receptionist was rude and tried to overcharge me for a late checkout. OYO had told me it would be 30% of the previous day's price, but he named ₹1000 without calculating, nearly twice what it should have been. At payment, he marked my room as checked out, took the money, and counted it as a room upgrade.

My room was fine, and breakfast was just okay. I didn't try lunch or dinner. There are two properties with the same name, so first-time visitors should confirm which one they're going to. This one is a little tucked away, though Uber and Ola can find it easily once the right location is pinned.

The room was spacious and quiet, which was nice, but I stayed two nights and never got room service. Breakfast wasn't brought to the room either. When we asked, they said we'd need to go to the canteen, and having it delivered would cost extra.
