Kalina Residency

The staff were quick and very cooperative, and for a one-day work stay the place was a decent deal. Its proximity to BKC was especially useful since I had an appointment to get to. There are eateries and hotels nearby too. Cleanliness was the drawback. The washroom doors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and there were centipedes in the bathroom, perhaps because the area is a village with moist earth. Noise from neighboring houses was another issue, as they almost touch the residency. I'd be willing to pay a little more if hygiene were kept up. Apart from the cleanliness, it's good for a day stay.

For four people, the room was worth what we paid, 600 per person, which is reasonable for a stay in Mumbai. It was clean and tidy, with good service and useful basics like air conditioning, hot water, and a TV.

The room was smelly and in bad condition, and the service was even worse. I booked for a full 24 hours, but after just four hours they told me to check out because they were giving the room to someone else. They gave no refund. It felt like a scam, so please don't stay here.

The staff are friendly, but they really need to pay more attention to hygiene.
