The food choices are limited but good, and the price is average. Staff were friendly and cooperative, and the manager knew a lot. They gave us tips on what to see on the way to Leh and explained acclimatization. The hotel sits a little uphill from the main highways, but it's easy to reach. We had an Urbania Tempo and were able to drive in and park without trouble.

On my way to Ladakh, I stayed here and really liked the team's hospitality. The owner and staff were kind, the rooms were clean, and the service was great. They even took us around for sightseeing and served us amazing local food. I was always greeted with a smile. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone traveling in the area.

We came to Kargil because my friend had been in an accident and needed medical help. At midnight, I called Hotel Apricot and Anees vai confirmed there were rooms available. We couldn't find transport from the hospital, so Anees vai came in his car to pick us up. When I said we'd go hungry if there was no food, he kept the dinner buffet open for us. It's hard to praise Hotel Apricot and Anees vai enough. If you're in Kargil, go there and experience his hospitality.

The bathroom was very clean and room service was excellent. The food was delicious, and the staff were polite and cooperative. Owner Mr Anees is gentle and soft-spoken.
