We arrived soaked by the rain at around 10 pm, and the staff got us checked in right away, without making us go through the usual formalities. They even offered to dry our wet clothes and brought us a hot dinner. The meal and breakfast the next morning were both tasty, and I had the best tea of our whole trip here. The hotel is in a prime location, with a place to buy new shoes very close by. We stayed for a day a couple of years ago, and the hospitality was extremely good. A great hotel for a stay in Kargil.

The food was good, and hot water was available around the clock thanks to the room’s own geyser, which was always switched on. We stayed for one night. The TV cable wasn’t working when we checked in, but they recharged it after I asked, about 15 minutes later.

The attached restaurant serves simple, tasty food, and the hotel also had Wi-Fi and car parking. Our room and bathroom were clean. Since it’s right in the heart of town, we could walk to most places, including the local market, an ATM, the bus stand, and the shared taxi stand.

The food they cooked, NOG, was delicious. Staff were polite, the room service was nice, and there’s space to park a car. They also accommodated our driver. Good value for money.

On our way to ladakh, we had a great stay here. The staff were great to deal with, and both their behavior and service were very good. The food was awesome too. Highly recommended.
