Check-in and checkout went smoothly. The rooms were clean, and the staff were helpful.

For what I paid, the slightly cramped room was okay, and the location is very good. There are good places to eat nearby, which helps since they don't serve food or drinking water. They even discourage you from filling a bottle at the water dispenser in reception. The AC was noisy at night and kept me from sleeping properly, and the shower curtains were mouldy and unclean. I'd put this a little above lodge level but below three-star quality. It can work for one or two people on a value stay for a day or two, but not longer. I wouldn't recommend it if you have kids. Also, don't book through websites; talk to them directly for the best price.

For anyone with breakfast included in their package, they'll bring it to the room from a nearby restaurant. There isn't an in-house restaurant, but there are two or three very good ones close by. The tourist attractions are within 4-5 kms. I found this hotel while looking for a stop on the way to Ooty. After reading the reviews, I booked, and it was worth it. The building near Apollo Hospital is in a prime residential area and is pretty new, just 2 years old. There's no separate parking, but there's a good amount of space in front. Check-in was smooth, and the room was spacious with all the amenities needed. Overall, a very comfortable stay at GMR. One thing to improve: hot water is available for a very limited time. It should be available all day if possible.

GEMARS COMFORTS was a pleasant, satisfactory stay, and I would recommend it to families and travelers visiting Mysore. The surroundings were clean, the location was convenient and easy to reach, and safety and hygiene seemed to be priorities. The rooms were clean, the staff polite, and the property was willing to accommodate requests, including giving us a better room free of cost. Amenities were good, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the room television was in working condition. The main drawback was that there was no fridge in the room.
