The water pressure in the shower could be better, but the welcome was warm and the host took a real interest in us. It’s a good spot for a break, with the beach about a hundred feet away and breakfast included.

The hospitality was the best part, despite a very basic room. It was clean, with fresh towels, backup power, and a clean but spartan bathroom. There’s no cupboard or hot water, just one charging plug, and the washbasin is in the shared lobby instead of the bathroom. No TV, which I was actually happy about. Breakfast is free, and the other food is reasonably priced. Ms.Hema makes fantastic meals. The beach is across the road, and you can see and hear the sea from the balcony. MsHema can arrange transport for trips around the area, though local transport isn’t cheap. I’d go back.
We slept so close to the sea that I could hear the waves all night. The stay felt homely, and everyone around us was warm and affectionate. The sea was very nearby, and the family was treated to good seafood. A wonderful experience.
The balcony view is lovely, and the homestay is right beside Azheekal beach. Our room was clean and had all the facilities we needed. The owner served a great breakfast. I’d recommend it 10/10.
A comfortable, family-friendly place to stay, just by the beach, and we felt safe there. I won’t forget chechis putty, patit with pappadam for breakfast. Thanks for having us.
