I paid Rs. 1030 for an AC single room, but even with the AC there were lots of mosquitoes, so bring All out if you book here. They charged Rs. 20 for a separate TV channel, saying guests have to pay for non-common channels. Service was bad, there was no complimentary water, and the mineral water came in a dirty bottle. I chose this place because of its 4 ratings, but those reviews were from a few years ago.
I couldn't get help when I asked for anything. The rooms were filthy and dusty, with bugs around, and the toilets weren't clean. They hadn't even left a water bottle or kettle. The lift was faulty and didn't work properly. Worst hotel I've stayed in, please don't go.
We stayed at "Hotel PON AMUDHA" near Karur bus-stand junction during a visit to Karur Sri Pasupatheeswarar Swamy Temple, Thaanthonimalai Perumal Temple, and Pughazhimalai Murugan Temple. The room and housekeeping were neat and clean, and the price was competitive and low. It was a peaceful stay, and we had blessed darshan of Lord Shiva, Balaji, and Murugan with my friend. 😊🙏
A very nice, affordable place to stay. For the same price, I don't think nearby hotels or lodges offer facilities like this. I recommend it.
The rooms are good, but they don't provide soap or bath towels. Parking is also a concern.
