Deepak, the caretaker and cook, made excellent meals tailored to us and served them nicely. We also enjoyed eating on the sheltered rooftop terrace, with beautiful views, sunsets, cool breezes, and rain coming down from the heights. The quiet setting is lovely, though it’s about 3KM from Kasauli market and there are a lot of stairs to climb. The property itself is average, but good value given how expensive the area is. Don’t expect too much, just enjoy the hospitality and views.

It was clean and as advertised, and I liked the place. The young person managing it was polite and well mannered, and he’s a hotel management student. The stairs up are a bit steep, but the staff helped carry our luggage. Thumbs up.

For the price, it’s a really good budget hotel: clean room, TV with HD channels, mountain views, clean washrooms, and supportive staff. Desh Raj was always there to help and gave me good suggestions about Kasauli. He and Deepak were both very helpful. I’d gladly stay here again if I visit the city.

The balcony view is amazing, especially with a cup of tea, and the food was tasty and hygienic. Rooms and washrooms were clean and nice, and the staff kept things well maintained. Desh Raj was professional and always ready to help. It was a really nice stay, about 3-4 km from sunrise-sunset point.

After a tiring drive, my husband and I arrived for the two-night stay I’d booked about a week earlier, only to be told there were no rooms available. We had to climb steep steps to the reception, kitchen, and admin area, then were left standing in the foyer and practically shooed out. The whole place felt like a sham and a colossal failure. OYO was no help either, they didn’t even answer our call. The rude, arrogant people ruined my holiday. I’d never recommend OYO Rooms to anyone.
