Velmore Kasauli Operated by Royal Orchid

The restaurant made every meal memorable, with delicious local dishes, attentive service, and timing that felt just right. Housekeeping was just as thoughtful. Our room was spotless each day, the linens were fresh, and turndown service and quick help with small requests made it a peaceful place to return to, with those beautiful Himalayan views. At arrival, the reception team welcomed us warmly, checked us in smoothly, suggested hidden gems around Kasauli, and upgraded our room without being asked. They made us feel looked after from the start. Velmore by The Royal Orchid Kasauli was a magical vacation, and we’ll be back soon.

The road leading up to the property was in poor condition, and the food was the least impressive part of our stay. It tasted average compared with the rest. Breakfast was prepared well, but dinner wasn’t as good taste-wise. The bakery items were average too, and got very chewy if not eaten right away. We stayed in the Rhodo Suite, which was spacious and clean. Its east-facing balcony looked over the property and hills, and gave us a sunrise view. The jacuzzi was especially nice with the hills in sight. Service was quick and polite.

The restaurant staff were especially welcoming and attentive, and everyone was happy to help. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had what we needed for a short visit. We spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. It was quiet at night and well located for exploring the area. A pleasant stay and good value for money.

The spacious rooms were the biggest plus for us, and we were totally satisfied with the property. We had a really nice time at velmore. The staff were cooperative and the service was very efficient. Great stay.
