The breakfast options were very limited. For vegetarians, it was paratha and fruit, and Jain choices were even more restricted. We politely asked for a few other items, but the request was turned down without any explanation. Service was disappointing too. At breakfast, staff seemed annoyed when I asked for hot water. When we asked for two spoons in our room, they questioned us with “kyu chahiye,” which came across as discourteous. We were also told the hotel didn't have enough towels, so we had to share. When we asked for more, the response was, “you haven’t paid enough.” Towels are a basic amenity, and that answer felt inappropriate and unprofessional. The whole experience showed too little courtesy and attention to basic guest comfort. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the service and staff training.

The night bonfire was a real highlight during our New Year celebrations, and the meals were enjoyable, with plenty of tasty options. I was in Kasol with my cousins, staying at Sandhya Kasol through the JustWravel travel company, and the whole trip exceeded our expectations. The hotel has a peaceful feel that suits Kasol, with lovely views of the surrounding mountains. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, well maintained, and had the essentials we needed. Sandhya Kasol brought together good food, comfort, and warm hospitality. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting with friends or family for a special occasion like New Year's.

The location is the one thing this hotel has going for it. The rooms and food were average, hospitality was poor, staffing was poor, and there was no buffet for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We ordered coffee, but they said it would take too long and refused. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. For families, definitely a no-go.

We had lunch at the restaurant and it was delicious. We also got a full show-around of Hotel Sandhya in Kasol, and the elegant rooms and stunning mountain views made a strong impression. It seemed like one of the best luxury options in Parvati Valley. Highly recommended if you're after a premium stay.

Our room, 301, had two heaters, and they charged us ₹600, at ₹300 each. We questioned this because their T&C said the charge was per room, not per heater. They started misbehaving and told us, "chahiye toh bolo nai toh jaake sojao". We'd stayed at two other hotels in Manali and kullu earlier, where heaters came at no extra charge. One person in our group vomited in the room, and room service asked us to pay ₹400 on the spot for cleaning. The next morning they charged our teammate another ₹500 for the same thing. Even after paying ₹900, the room wasn't sanitised, only cleaned. The rooms were good and the location very good, but the service was very bad. The location is about the only good thing otherwise. There were no basic facilities like a heater unless you paid extra.
