The nights had their own rhythm: a bonfire on the first, relaxed drinks and conversation on the second, then the river sounds to wind down before heading back the next morning. The mix of fellow backpackers was great, too. I’ve stayed here three years in a row, and each visit has been consistently good. Vishant, the hostel manager, is attentive and helpful, and Chotu’s smile makes the place feel warmer. The rooms and washrooms were clean and well kept. I moved between Mercury, Pluto, and Jupiter this time. Pluto was the quietest, while Jupiter, with balcony access, was my favourite. Vishant arranged it for my friends and me on request, which was a nice touch. If you extend your stay, be ready to switch rooms depending on availability and bookings. That’s standard for a hostel, but useful to know. Clean, well run, and full of good people. I’ll be back next year.
