Hotel AJ International

The location is the main reason to consider this place: it's close to shopping and the Katra bus stop, while set apart from the busy main area. I stayed in G6 on 12&13th July. The room had no opening windows and felt claustrophobic. The toilets were dirty, there was no geyser, and hot water was available only in the mornings. I even saw snails in the bathroom, which was amusing compared with finding cockroaches or lizards. Wi-Fi in the rooms was weak, so I had to go to reception for a connection. I wouldn't recommend this place again.

It's close to the market and Katra bus stand, with good parking and good staff. The rooms are okay, but the building is old and needs renovation. There's no kitchen at the hotel, and hot water is available only in the morning.

The location is accessible, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. But the cleanliness was only okay, there was no pipe under the sink in our room, and the other staff could have been more attentive. We also got no breakfast, even after asking for it.

The lane to the hotel was full of garbage, and the rooms and washrooms weren't clean. Ants and other insects were all over both the rooms and washroom. I had to ask staff to clean everything after we arrived, even though the rooms should have been ready before then. The towels they gave us were wet, so I had to ask for fresh ones. The hotel also didn't provide the promised trips to Banganga or between the railway station and the hotel, saying the driver wasn't available. The staff weren't professional, and I'd rate this one star, not three. I strictly wouldn't recommend staying here.
