The staff were friendly and good. Our driver needed 15 to 20 minutes to find the place, though. It's very crowded around this hotel, and from a distance it wasn't easy to see, unlike how it appears on the sites. The rooms are spacious, but ours had insects, cockroaches, and termites. The paint was coming off the walls, and the furniture in both the room and bathroom was old.

The peaceful atmosphere and clean rooms made for a comfortable stay at Anurag Hotel Katra. Staff were helpful, service was prompt, and the food tasted good. Getting around was easy because it's conveniently located near the shrine route. The hospitality was impressive, and it seems a good option for families and pilgrims visiting Mata Vaishno Devi.

Manager Rohit and the hotel's service made my stay at Hotel Anurag in Katra a positive, memorable one. The staff were welcoming, check-in was efficient, and they were polite, attentive, and ready to help with any request, big or small. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. For pilgrims, the location is a big plus. It's conveniently close to the main market and the starting point for the Vaishno Devi trek, making it a good base for an easier visit.

The food was fresh, hygienic, tasty, and had a good variety. Hotel Anurag made our time in Katra peaceful and memorable, with good value for money. Rooms were spacious, well maintained, and had the essentials for a comfortable stay. Staff were very polite and helpful, whether arranging transport, guiding us for Vaishno Devi Yatra, or making check-in and checkout smooth. The location near the market and Yatra starting point is convenient for pilgrims. A pleasant stay, and I'd recommend it to families, couples, and pilgrims visiting Katra. 🙏✨

The view was the only good thing about this hotel. The lift wasn't working, there was no hot water, and when we told staff the TV was broken, they said they'd fix it but never did. I'd give it 0 stars if I could, though I still gave 1. I'd advise you not to come here.
