The stay was really comfortable after our trip to Pahalgam, when they upgraded us to a fantastic Suite. Even as pure veggies, we could manage a sumptuous meal, and the breakfast spread was very good. The hotel is in a prime spot on the Dal Lake road, handy for Shikara boat rides and Shankaracharya temple. Rooms are spacious, with prompt service in the room and restaurant. The 2 aged staff in the restaurant, plus Irfan, Ashiq and Miazamil, were very supportive. Overall, a good place to stay.

The food was the highlight for me. Every meal, from breakfast to dinner, was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made, with plenty of options. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the service, from check-in through housekeeping, was consistently smooth. The staff were polite, cooperative, attentive, and ready to help with a smile, which made the stay feel personal and easy. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this comfortable, well-managed hotel. I'll definitely return on my next visit to the city.

The rooms at Welcome Hotel, Srinagar were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with a relaxing feel and thoughtful touches that added to the comfort. The food was delicious, with good variety and excellent quality, and every meal was enjoyable. The staff were courteous and helpful, always ready with a smile, and made us feel welcome throughout a truly memorable stay.

During our 2-day stay, we saw the receptionists have heated conversations with at least three different guests. That gave a poor impression of how they handle guests and hospitality. Our own experience at Welcome Hotel was unpleasant too: three reception staff members behaved unprofessionally over a loose handle on a small refrigerator, making a lot of unnecessary ruckus and charging us ₹3000. The discussion became uncomfortable and heated, when it could have been handled politely, and they didn't give us a separate bill for the payment. The kitchen staff and several others, though, were kind, polite, and helpful throughout. In contrast, everyone we dealt with at Fresh Water Resort in Pahalgam was warm, respectful, hospitable, and genuinely caring, which made that stay comfortable and memorable. I hope Welcome Hotel improves the front desk staff's professionalism and attitude, because good hospitality starts with respectful communication.

Dal Lake's breathtaking surroundings are hard to beat, and Dawar made sure I got the best room. His hospitality was genuinely next level, so a special shoutout to him. Hotel Welcome, Dal View feels right from the moment you walk in, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and staff who treat you like family from day one. Room 404 has become my favourite. Every time I visit, that's the room I'm coming back to. Next time I'm in Kashmir, I'm heading straight back. Highly recommend!
