The bathroom was in a terrible state: a used, dirty soap bar had been left on the showerhead, the showerhead was caked with hard water stains and grime, and there was extensive active fungus on the ceiling. I paid ₹5,500 for the night at Hotel Comrade Inn on 5th June, expecting a clean, comfortable room, but the property only looked fine at first glance. When I raised this with the reservation manager, he was blunt and dismissive. He said housekeeping could remove the soap, but refused to deal with the fungus or stains or move us to another room right away. The House Keepinv Manager promised an upgrade the next day to placate us, but it never happened. We were left with the same problems, and management didn't keep its word. Paying a premium for a filthy room and getting no accountability or honesty from staff was deeply frustrating. Avoid this place if cleanliness, basic hospitality, and managers keeping promises matter to you. Rating: 0 / 5.

The cab service the hotel arranged was punctual, reliable, and very well managed. Kadir and Altaf were outstanding drivers, polite, professional, and cooperative, and made our sightseeing smooth and enjoyable. I stayed at Hotel Comrade Inn from 06 Apr 2026 to 10 Apr 2026. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was good, and the courteous staff were always ready to help. I highly recommend it for both the stay and the hospitality and transport service.

One staff member especially made a difference with her patience and warm, helpful manner. Her care for guests reflects well on the service at Comrade Inn. My stay in Srinagar was comfortable, with clean rooms and courteous, professional staff who were ready to assist. It was a delightful experience, and I'd gladly recommend the hotel and visit again.

For 3.5k, this room really wasn't worth it. It was slightly dirty, and the sofa looked like it hadn't been cleaned in two years. There was no hair dryer or dental kit, and I didn't even get breakfast. The commode was a bit high, which could be difficult for some people, and there was no counter to put soaps or shampoos. Heavily overpriced.

The hospitality was really nice, as it is elsewhere in Kashmir. But despite being listed as a 4 star hotel, this felt no better than an average 3 star property. Apart from the room size, things like the TV, curtains, doors, and bathroom were ordinary and aged.
