The kitchen is right in front of the main gate, and cooking smells drift into the guest rooms. That had a significant effect on my comfort and is the main reason for my low rating. Food quality was inconsistent, and service didn't meet expectations. I hope the team takes this feedback into account to improve the experience for future guests.

The dinner was great, with some of the best food I've had in Kashmir. The boy whose name I forgot was awesome and helpful. The room and bathrooms need more cleaning, though. The hotel was arranged by my travel agent, and this accommodation wasn't really my type or level.
The staff were polite, humble, and well mannered, and they provided food to suit our needs. The rooms were very good, and both the water heater and blanket heater worked properly. It felt like home. A great place to visit during a stay in Kashmir.
