The hotel was okay, but we arrived on 11th aug 2025 during heavy rain and couldn’t easily go out. They said the kitchen was closed because they didn’t have enough staff, so we couldn’t get a meal.

There was no hot water in the bathroom, and no kettle to heat any water either.

The reception staff were rude and unprofessional, which made the stay unpleasant. There was no pickup or drop-off service, and I also found no ATM on the premises, which caused more inconvenience. It felt like the staff were running things for their own benefit instead of caring about the hotel’s reputation or guests.

The lawn alongside the hotel was a great spot for a walk after dinner at night. Our room was spacious and had enough light, and hot water was available. The hotel is in a good location too.

We were worn out after coming down from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, so we hired horses for the 12km stretch from banganga to bhawan. Along the way we bought prasad, then took an auto to the hotel. We had lunch after arriving. The rooms were neat, food was tasty, and staff were good, with quick responses and great service. Recommended for everyone.
