The lobby and reception reeked of cigarette smoke, and every room had a moldy smell. Staying here with family would be a bad idea, and booking feels like a waste of money. You only get the complimentary soap if you ask, and drinking water isn't included.

Don't waste your money here. The rooms and beds were awful, and the toilet was bad too, with no shower. The fan had no regulator, so it ran at full speed. Staff behaved badly and asked for tips without giving any useful help.

The room was stained, with cockroach-like bugs crawling around, and I didn't trust the pillows or sheets, so after visiting Madurai I used my own bedding from the car. The bathroom was just about usable and I slept okay, but the staff kept waking me to move the car. One time I did move it, only to be woken again over a question about whether a tap was on. Later, the same guy rang the bell to ask me to move it again. I finally shouted at him and he left me alone. Parking itself was useful because I wanted a safe place for the car. I was in a bind on a Saturday after trying seven nearby hotels, with no rooms at any of them and some not even replying. The first room they showed me cost ₹1200 and smelled terrible, like a rundown hostel. The alternative was a flawed, tiny 10x10 AC room. They quoted ₹2000, then agreed to ₹1900 after negotiating and gave a bill for ₹1800, with ₹100 as his tip. This place brought back memories of old lodges. It didn't feel worth the price, though if you're stuck, it may be your only option. I went in looking for a room, checked in, settled down and tried to nap before the interruptions began. It seemed to me they take advantage of guests who don't have many alternatives.
