I spent the whole night in my car with my wife and two kids because the hotel wouldn’t let us check in, saying the OYO rate was too cheap. We were in Katra, about 700 km from Delhi, with nowhere else to go. It was the worst stay I’ve ever had, and I’ll never book OYO again. The room was filthy, damp, and had insects on the bedsheet. There was no water in the bathroom, and the bathroom door had no handle on the inside. The room had no power, and the hotel had no backup, so even the fan wouldn’t work. There was no intercom or staff support either. I called the OYO manager that night and asked to be moved to another property, but he told me to cancel instead. I want a refund and action taken against Suhani Katra Palace and Mr. Sharad (Oyo Manager from Katra). The property should be removed from OYO right away.

The room was filthy, and the reception didn’t even have the OYO app to check my reservation. There was no sign of OYO anywhere, and they refused the breakfast included in the deal. This felt less like a hotel than a chawl, and even a general-class train toilet is cleaner. A truly awful stay. Please don’t book here.

I booked through Agoda, and although the property is associated with Oyo, the staff wouldn’t provide the breakfast included in my reservation. The room smelled strange and was dirty, with a dirty bed; there were no slippers, towel, or soap either. They kept saying that if I’d booked offline, they would have included breakfast and pick-up and drop-off for the same amount. So who cheated me here? I have complaints about Agoda, Oyo, and the hotel.
