We loved eating our meals on the terrace. The pleasant weather and beautiful view of Mata Rani made it peaceful and memorable. The food was pure vegetarian, without garlic or onion, which suited us. Our family of two adults and our 10 yrs old son enjoyed the calm, homely feel we were looking for when we booked, based on the positive recent reviews and the quieter setting. This homestay is a good fit if you want simplicity, comfort, and a peaceful place at an affordable price. The rooms were decent, well maintained, and had the essentials. It isn't the choice for someone seeking a luxurious, hotel-like experience throughout a stay in Katra. The owner was extremely humble and supportive, always ready with useful information and suggestions throughout our journey. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend it to friends and others looking for a calm, homely stay in Katra.

The meals were a highlight during our two-day stay at Pushpa Residency, Katra. They were simple, fresh, tasty, and felt home-cooked. Portions were more than enough, quality was excellent for the reasonable prices, and everything was served with care. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, giving us a relaxing place to come back to after a long day. The staff made us feel welcome with warm smiles and polite behavior, and were always ready to help with room or food requests, or offer general guidance about the area. Their courteous attitude made the stay pleasant and stress-free. It was a wonderful, comfortable stay for the budget. Pushpa Residency offers good value through its cleanliness and heartfelt hospitality. I highly recommend it to families and budget travelers visiting Katra, and I'd choose it again.

The food was tasty, and the room itself was clean with everything working. Staff were well behaved, too. They can drive you to the railway station or airport in their own car, and the ₹200 railway station fare seemed reasonable compared with local autos and cars. Room prices were nominal. A nice hotel, and I’d book it without hesitation.

I left my wallet in the room by accident, with cash and important belongings inside. When I called, the staff checked right away, kept it safe, and even arranged to send it to my home city. That kind of honesty really stood out. Mr. Surjeet, the owner, was humble, kind, and genuinely helpful. The place was spotless and the service was 10/10. My stay at Pushpa Residency was memorable, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Katra for mata vaishno devi yatra.

The room was neat and clean, and I had a great stay at Pushpa Residency when I went to Vaishno Devi in March. The owner and staff were friendly and very supportive. I’d recommend staying here.
