The Altruist Katra Hotel

This was a pathetic stay. The property is old and needs maintenance, and the rooms and bathrooms didn’t look like the photos on MMT or Google. They call it a three-star hotel, but it didn’t feel like one. The rooms are costly for the level of property and service. We needed to start our yatra at 6 in the morning, but there was no hot water for a bath. Staff said it was a technical issue, couldn’t fix it, and eventually gave us a bucket of hot water. We were delayed. You have to ask for everything, including water bottles, housekeeping, and soap. Calling wasn’t enough. We had to go to reception, or they’d take a long time or forget. I’d say don’t be taken in by the name or the fake reviews.

The room was decent, but for what it costs, it doesn’t feel like good value. Other Katra hotels offer better facilities and an overall better experience for a similar price or less. I booked based on the reviews, but my stay didn’t match them. If meals, especially breakfast, are a big reason you’re considering this place, I’d think again. The food was disappointing, and I struggled to find anything good to eat. I’d ask current and past guests to leave honest feedback from their own experience, without being swayed by the hotel.

Brijesh made check-in easy and shared local suggestions that turned out to be great. Prakash made sure the room was comfortable and was quick to handle our requests. Their hospitality really stood out. I recently stayed at altruist amr hotel and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the amenities matched the description, and the location made it easy to get around.

The food had a great range and was delicious, and service stayed top-notch throughout. My room was spotless, nicely designed, and had everything I needed. From arrival, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the stay memorable. I’d highly recommend the hotel for comfort, quality, and service. Can’t wait to return!
