The price doesn’t match the rooms. Ours smelled strongly of cigarettes, had no ventilation or view, and the bathroom flush didn’t work. When I asked the owner to move us, he said we’d have to wait until 5pm and pointed out that we had already used the room with the broken flush. We even had to fix the bedsheet to get the room changed, because he said we’d sat on it and asked who would fix it. I’d paid one day in advance, so I stayed, then changed rooms the next day. The owner was rude and had no manners. I’d choose another hotel, even at this price or less, for better rooms, views, service, and staff. Keep this place as a last option.

I had a misleading and very disappointing stay. I booked through MMT using photos of a decent room, but at check-in they took me to a different property next door. The room was in terrible condition, and there was no running hot water in peak winter. They suggested using a shared bathroom for hot water or an electric heating rod, neither of which was acceptable. The owner said at night that he’d give me a discount because of the room, then refused the next morning and was rude on the phone. I’d strongly advise people to avoid this place.

Very helpful staff and good behavior from everyone, including Trivedi ji. The hotel is neat and clean, the room AC worked properly, and it’s near Khajuraho main temple. Best hotel in Khajuraho.

To avoid wasting time and money, I’d stay away from hotel lotus. I booked through an online site such as MMT, goibibo, or airbnb, and had a very bad experience. They may tell you there are no rooms and that the hotel is sold out. I spent time going back and forth with Mr Trivedi. There are plenty of other hotels in Khajuraho, and I can suggest some.
