The manager was polite and helped with several things, including arranging cabs, hospital visits, and a city tour. The room was neat and clean, and they arranged food that was good and reasonably priced. I’ve stayed here twice, and both visits were a really good experience. It’s a good place to stay on a budget. I paid 800 for an AC room for one day, and it was worth the price.

The room and hotel were dirty, the toilets were dirty too, and the linens smelled bad. The bedsheets weren’t clean and weren’t changed during our three nights there. Breakfast was limited to Maggie and bread with jam, and the food quality was very poor. Staff weren’t cooperative and treated us badly. For these services, the hotel was way overpriced: I paid Rs.4500/night for three people in one room. We stayed three nights but paid for four because we had to cancel the fourth night. I haven’t received a response from agoda after complaining about the hotel, and it makes me wonder if agoda is still maintaining its room standards, though it used to be known for good hotels and service. I’d booked through Agoda at 600/night for three people, but the hotel refused to accept the booking and demanded 1500/night for one person. They said nearby hotels were expensive, they wouldn’t give us the room for 600, and we should get our money back from agoda. They also said they wouldn’t take orders from agoda, that the police or anyone else wouldn’t do anything, and that we’d have to pay 1500/night per person to stay. If someone visited for more than half an hour, they’d charge another 600 per person. It was 0200 hrs and I had no other option. People choose agoda rooms for the good service, but this place was terrible.

Really enjoyed the experience. I’d recommend it.
