Aranyak Resort Kanha

For the price, I expected the service to match the resort’s premium image more consistently. Basic in-room expectations sometimes felt transactional, and attention seemed to favor foreign guests. Guest management also appeared uneven, which came across as unfair and unprofessional. These small interactions make a big difference to how guests judge value and service. Management should address the gaps with clearer standards and better staff training, since fairness and consistency matter at this price point.

We enjoyed the special in-house vegetables, raw mango chutney, and welcome drinks, and the jacuzzi was a nice way to unwind. The kids spent time at the club house while we visited the library, and we also biked through the greenery. Aranyak Resort Kanha has a lush green campus with plenty to do. We visited recently with family and had a plush stay.

The staff were kind and really tried to make us comfortable, but the stay itself was only average. We came with our 6-month-old baby and found cockroaches and other insects on the bed. After the trip, our baby had several bite marks. The fried food tasted strange, as if it might have been made with low-quality or reused oil. I'd only book if the price were a good deal, and I wouldn't choose it when travelling with a baby.

We had 7 safari drives and saw tigers 3 times, along with plenty of other wildlife and birds. Pretty good for November. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the staff went out of their way to help. I also appreciated getting a drink and cool towel after drives. We stayed 4 nights in November 2025. The room was spacious, with a mini fridge, smart TV, decent internet for the area, and a good hot shower. It exceeded my expectations. The main frustration was that it wasn't cleaned at all during our stay, even after we put the notice on the door. We had to ask for toilet paper, coffee or tea, linen changes, or the bins to be dealt with. Only water came with lunch and dinner, so anyone wanting soft drinks or alcohol should bring their own and use the room fridge. Still, it was an excellent stay and I'd highly recommend the lodge.
