Even with the place crowded, Jeena kept an eye on every table and took wonderful care of us at the Waterfront the day before yesterday. She was so polite, truly a gem, and we really appreciated her excellent service.

We especially enjoyed the cruise, and Jasmine’s warm, attentive service made us feel well looked after. The hotel has a great location, comfortable rooms, and very good food. High tea was enjoyable, though it could use more variety. I’d also like vegetarian options to be clearly available, with non-vegetarian dishes labelled or explained. As a coffee lover, I was a little disappointed that they served only espresso and no traditional filter coffee. We arrived early in the morning with two kids, during heavy rain. Staff asked us to come back at 2 pm for standard check-in, without trying to help with an early check-in or offering a temporary solution. That made the start of our trip quite challenging. A bit more empathy and flexibility would have made a big difference. The hotel itself is wonderful, with great food and facilities, and more care from staff around these details could make the guest experience truly exceptional.

I’ve travelled extensively for work and pleasure for 15 years, and Kerala is one of my favourite places. I came back this year with my wife, on her first trip to India. Brunton boatyard was fabulous, from the hotel itself to the staff and food, all top notch. Jasmine at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and professional. We had a tuk tuk tour with Sunny, visiting several old religious institutions, a spice merchant’s outlet store, and a laundry, and saw elephants at a temple. Even after a monkey stole a bikini, the hotel staff managed to retrieve it. India always brings adventures. It was a lovely holiday at a fabulous hotel.

The staff made the stay, they were all incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of their way to look after us. Our room was lovely, and the hotel was beautiful, with a great swimming pool and lovely daily afternoon tea. The location was great too, walkable to everywhere in fort kochi.
