The hosts were the best part for me. They're some of the kindest, funniest, most interesting people, and just getting to chat with them makes the stay worthwhile. As a solo female traveler, I also felt very safe there. I stayed at Costa Gama for five nights and really enjoyed it. It's quiet, with shops and restaurants nearby, and the city centre is a walk of about 15-20 minutes. The rooms are charming and quaint, with old-style decor, and they were clean and comfortable. Just keep in mind there's no air-conditioning, only a fan, so March through May can be very hot. There's also a clean kitchen, drinkable water, and a fridge. I'd recommend it!

I came for the Biennale, and the location was ideal for me. I traveled alone, so feeling safe and cared for mattered a lot. The rooms were cozy and homely, and Benson was especially lovely. Every interaction was considerate and respectful. I left feeling like I'd made a friend in him.

A quiet little street keeps this lovely Fort Kochi homestay peaceful, while all the nice places are still close by. The house has a warm feel, with lots of wood and thoughtful decor. Benson was friendly and happy to help with our questions and requests. Highly recommended.

I was first drawn in by the look of the house, and it turned out to feel like a home away from home. The owners were really friendly, and everything was well maintained. For the price, it’s a great option, especially if you’re traveling solo. I loved having a balcony attached to the room, and the location made it easy to get around the city on foot. I wish I’d had more time to stay longer.

We only had one night here before flying to Thailand, but I’d happily stay again on a future trip to Kochi. The area felt very safe, and lots of shops and restaurants were an easy 10-15 minute walk away. The traditional dark wood building is beautiful. Our bed was comfortable, and we didn’t feel we needed AC. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. The host and his wife were so friendly and funny. I only wish we’d had more time with them.
