It's a calm, affordable place a little outside the city center, with clean, modern rooms that look like the online photos. Many have big windows with city or mountain views. The staff are often described as polite, cooperative, and especially helpful, going out of their way for guests. The rooftop restaurant and lounge have wide views and make a pleasant place to relax after sightseeing. Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and secure parking are among the useful amenities, and guests see it as good value, with a bit of affordable luxury. Jagdish Temple and City Palace are still within manageable reach, though the hotel is outside the main tourist area. I'd arrange my own transport or allow extra time to get to the lakes. If you're on a tight sightseeing schedule, relying only on public transit is a bad idea. The peace and quiet are a nice tradeoff.
