Indriya Sands

The ambience and activities were good, and we did enjoy the day overall. It’s a decent option for a one-day outing, with the nearby beach as a real plus. Better facilities and clearer communication would make it a much better experience. We came to Indriya a couple of days ago as ten women and paid ₹12k for lunch and a space. What we got was an open area, where we were told to leave our bags and personal things even after we raised safety concerns. For changing into and out of pool clothes, we had just two common bathrooms for the group, and one didn’t work. That meant all ten of us had to use one bathroom shared with other visitors. Given the price and that we were an all-women group, we expected a private room or at least a more practical place to change. The washrooms were also poorly maintained. Taps leaked, and the shower sprayed everywhere, soaking our new clothes as we changed. When we complained, staff said the problems had already been mentioned earlier. After paying a premium, we didn’t expect to have to use common washrooms in that condition. Lunch was just average, and ₹900 per person for the lunch service felt expensive, especially with every adventure activity charged separately.

Finding your room can be a little tricky at first, so clearer signs showing where the rooms are would help. Still, Indriya Sands was a pleasant place to stay. The beachfront is the highlight: the front of the property opens straight onto the beach, where it’s easy to relax for the day. There’s plenty to do, including zip line, kayaking, pedal boating, and other activities, making it enjoyable for families and groups. The pool was clean and well looked after, the garden was beautifully maintained, and there’s good parking space. The food was good too, with a nice range of continental options.

It’s an older property, but the rooms and shared areas were clean and well maintained. We found it comfortable and enjoyable for a family holiday. The staff’s warmth and help throughout really stood out, especially while travelling with kids. That personal attention mattered more to us than just having good amenities. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, and the food was good. There’s plenty for adults and children to do, from the pool and children’s park to the glass bridge, sky cycling, zip line, kayaking, pedal boating, and other fun activities.

We held my sister’s Madhuram Vepp evening at Indriya Sands Resort, and the beautiful, peaceful setting with its ethnic charm made the occasion feel special. The groom’s side stayed there as well and were just as pleased. Service was top-notch, and the staff helped everything run smoothly from beginning to end. All the guests enjoyed the evening, and the venue helped make it memorable. We’ll be back to celebrate here again. Thank you, Indriya Sands, for a lovely experience!
