Kent Baywatch Suites

We spent three days at Kent Baywatch during a relaxing trip to cochin. The location is accessible from the city center, and the front desk staff were efficient and helpful. Our spacious room had a balcony overlooking Vembanad Lake, plus a dining table, microwave oven, refrigerator and washing machine. The property also has an outdoor pool, fitness studio and spa salon. Some parts of the service were disappointing. Food was expensive, the choices were limited, and serving took a long time. The intercom didn’t work and wasn’t fixed after we asked, so we had to go downstairs whenever we needed help. Wifi kept disconnecting, and we had to remind the cleaning personnel several times, which disrupted our plans to visit other tourist spots. It’s still a good option for a peaceful, luxurious stay in Cochin.

We booked a furnished 2BHK apartment at Kent Baywatch Suites, Kochi for a group of friends. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, with a pleasant homely feel. Service was fine and we had no major issues. Having Swiggy and Zomato deliveries available was handy. The main disappointment was the WiFi, which didn’t connect properly in the room. It’s a good choice if you want a spacious apartment-style place to stay in Koch.

The room was spotless, comfortable and well maintained, and the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to relax. Staff were polite, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The facilities were clean and organized, and both the food and amenities were excellent. The ambience and service were top-notch, with care taken over the details and guest satisfaction. A wonderful stay, highly recommended. I’ll definitely visit again!

The view is nice, but the hotel is far from the centre. Expect to spend a lot on taxis, then be isolated in the evening: the TVs are broken, there’s no wifi and there’s no other entertainment. Service was mediocre at best. We stayed for two days after being drawn in by the good reviews. After seeing the place, I can only assume many are fake, especially the ones mentioning a nice pool table, sauna and flawless rooms. The sauna is either under construction or being renovated, the pool table is too broken to use, and the pool is in poor condition. The lobby and outside are the only nice parts. Our room was awful. There was no hot water or toilet paper, and a previous guest’s toothbrush had been left behind. The floor was very dirty; there were leaks, marked walls and cracks everywhere. The sink leaked constantly, leaving the bathroom floor wet. Wifi only worked on the ground floor, and even there it was spotty. Maybe this could be forgiven at a two-star hotel with two-star prices, but this four-star trap is clearly for show. The property was completely empty and in really poor condition, as the photos show. I can only assume a large majority of the reviews are fake.
