The staff were really kind to my family and always willing to help. My newer room was right by the lake and had a lovely view, though I did see a couple of older rooms that didn't look as nice. The water near the resort isn't clean, and they could do a lot by clearing the waste from it. The room had most of what I needed, though the amenities could be better. The open bathroom at the back also needs more privacy, since a taller building behind us had a clear view of the yard.

The sunrise boat trip is lovely if you enjoy being on the water at sunrise and quietly watching the world go by. We spent a week here for the peaceful, beautifully decorated rooms and the ayurvedic treatments, with a fabulous range of vegetarian food. We came away feeling like new women. The setting is beautiful and tucked away from the main street. The whole team was warm, friendly, and attentive, and we're very grateful. They don't have their own pool yet, it's still at the planning stage, but it was an easy walk to their sister hotel for a dip whenever we wanted. Highly recommend, and thanks for everything.

The location is good and the staff were friendly, but our stay at LES 3 Elephant Resort, Cherai Beach fell short. We'd booked two premium cottages, yet they didn't feel premium. Garbage was floating near our cottage, the shower pressure was very poor, and the rooms lacked a coffee maker and hair dryer. The outdoor shower itself was acceptable, but privacy was a serious concern because people in a nearby building might be able to see us. We paid ₹15,000 for two rooms, and the facilities didn't feel adequate for that price. Breakfast was frustrating too: nobody told us what was on the menu, and at first we were served only idli. We later saw other guests getting dosa and omelette and realized those were options. There was also a long wait. We understood that one chef was on leave, but during a festive season we expected better planning. For the amount charged, there wasn't anything especially memorable: no pool, no activities, and limited amenities. This isn't meant as a bad remark, just constructive feedback. The resort has real potential because of its location, but its facilities and service need a lot of improvement to justify the price.

The lake made this such a beautiful, peaceful place. I was moved to a new villa with AC and hot water whenever I needed it, which was lovely. The staff were always smiling and so helpful. When I arrived at 1:30am, the gate was locked and my driver had to call them, but they came to help. Breakfast was delicious and huge, more than I could finish. I would have liked it a bit spicier, though. It seemed toned down for foreign guests, and I like medium heat, Indian style. Thanks so much. I really enjoyed my stay. After 25 days travelling around Kerala and Tamil Nadu, this was the best place of all.
