Majo House

The sea was just across the road from the house, and there were nice restaurants nearby. We loved the cool design and the atmosphere, and were very happy with our choice of Majo House. Mahesh was always there when we needed him, super helpful and polite. He told us about the area, the people and all sorts of interesting things, and served a wonderful breakfast every morning. :)

Majo House was the highlight of my time in Kerala. We spent the days relaxing on the empty beach, taking little rides on the Majo bikes and trying out new yoga routines. In the evenings, we’d laugh with our brilliant host, Micky, at different restaurants down the road. I’d highly recommend it for a relaxed, home-from-home stay. I’m dying to go back soon.

We had a great stay in this stylish place over New Year’s Eve weekend, though we missed the yoga class. The house faces the sea, with loungers for soaking up the sun. All four rooms had their own bathrooms and AC, and were super clean. The kitchen was well equipped, and the upstairs terrace was just right for a BBQ party. Miky, the owner, made us feel at home and was always available when we needed his input. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Micky’s hospitality and guidance made our stay feel effortless and relaxed. His recommendations saved us from spending ages figuring out the best places to visit, something that often happens in a new country. The house was possibly the most tastefully decorated and furnished accommodation I’ve stayed in, and it suited the local surroundings so well. I came to Kerala with an open mind and was blown away by the natural beauty, people, atmosphere, food and general vibe. We all had an amazing holiday. Thank you for everything.
