Jasmin Villa

This was a 10/10 stay, exactly the sort of place my partner and I hoped to find in kochi. Other travelers’ reviews persuaded me to book, and they lived up to all the praise. We especially loved the food. Jazmin made the BEST homemade Indian dishes, and she’s an amazing cook. She also offers a cooking class. The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds and pillows and a great shower. We loved the charming, characterful touches, along with the garden and side room. The WiFi was great, and the photos really don’t do the place justice. We were delighted by the surprise and highly recommend this homestay. Jazmin, her husband Stanley, and her brother Robby were incredibly kind, warm, and hospitable. They took great care of us and helped with all our questions. The neighborhood felt very quiet and safe, and it was a nice 20-minute walk into town.

The cooking class was a great part of our stay at this family-run homestay. We learned to make eight different dishes with Madame Jasmin and her team, who were caring and professional throughout. The room was spacious, clean, and well furnished, with a small balcony. Breakfast was very nice each day, and the optional dinner was amazing too, with real local cuisine. Highly recommended!

Jasmin and her family made it easy to feel at home, and they were always ready to help with plans, getting around, finding spices, or arranging trips. The location is central but quiet, and the rooms are spacious, lovely, and spotless. I also took Jasmin’s cooking class and really recommend it if you want to learn authentic Kerala and Indian cooking. She’s an amazing cook, and I had some of the best food I ate in India at her house. I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back.

Jasmin and her family were attentive throughout, and the house was clean and in a nice location. I found the stay really comfortable. The food was excellent too, with a mix of South Indian staples and a few North Indian dishes. I’d recommend it.
