Monsoon Empress

I went to a seminar at Monsoon Express Hotel and found the hall spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was excellent, and the staff were attentive and very cordial. It’s a great option for events and gatherings.

We paid a substantial advance for a program that was later cancelled, after being clearly told the amount would go toward a future program. When we signed up again, we were charged more despite that promise, and I was disappointed to learn that a lower price had been offered in response to an anonymous enquiry. The manager apologized verbally and said he’d call me in two days after speaking with management, but three weeks passed without a call. I felt misled into paying without a discount at the time. I can provide the name of the person who promised to call back in two days if requested.

The whole stay was a great experience, thanks to the team. I especially want to thank Hridhya from housekeeping for the outstanding support she gave me. Thanks again!

This didn’t feel like a hotel, more like a military camp. I stayed today (02/11/2025), and found the staff, especially the receptionists, very negative, arrogant, and rigid about policies. They weren’t polite or welcoming, and when I asked for a complaint log book, the receptionist said they didn’t keep one, which doesn’t comply with legal norms. The place had none of the warmth or professionalism I’d expect from a reputed property.
