Neemrana's - Tower House

What will bring me back is the personal attention, especially from the hotel manager, Mr.Arun Moorthy. He made a point of looking after each guest, and the service staff were extremely polite and helpful. My mother and I stayed for the weekend, and the customer service really stood out. The old Portuguese heritage bungalow is very well kept, with a great atmosphere. It was clean and tidy, and the price felt like good value for the location. I’d recommend it 10/10.

The pool is tucked away and lovely, and breakfast beside it was a treat. There were plenty of breakfast choices, including eggs made to order and dosas. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and Nimisha and Shabana made check-in and check-out easy. Our spacious bedroom had all the amenities. The hotel is in a well-maintained, quaint 17th-century colonial house. It’s at the edge of Fort Kochi, near the water and away from the crowds, but restaurants, shops, and local sights are still an easy walk. This was easily the best place we stayed in Kerala. We’d highly recommend it and hope to come back.

Shabana and her team made the stay a real delight. The rooms and pool are beautiful, the service is very friendly, and some of the best food we ate in Kochi was here, consistently. For the money, this was much better value than the boutique hotels on Princess Street and elsewhere. We’d spent two nights at one of those before moving to The Tower House.

The two ground-floor rooms are very humid and have mosquitoes, so keep that in mind. I was moved upstairs the next day, and the huge room made the rest of the stay perfect. Reception was especially helpful when I had a problem with my foot: they got me a doctor and gave me all the help they could. The old Cochin house has a lovely feel, and the location is ideal for Fort Kochi. The Chinese nets and many of the best restaurants and cafes are extremely close.
