Stay Inn Resort Jaisalmer

It was a good budget stay with good food and very helpful staff. The tents are old, and there was no swimming pool despite one appearing in the photo. They should find a way to keep and serve food hot in winter, since it gets really cold. Service and response were good too.

Tripli Hotels Stay Inn Resort is in a peaceful spot away from city noise, yet still easy to reach. The spacious, well-designed rooms were clean and had the essential modern amenities for a comfortable visit. Staff were polite, cooperative, and quick to assist with a smile. The food was tasty and nicely prepared, with a good range of Indian dishes. A solid value-for-money choice for families, couples, or other visitors to Jaisalmer, and I’d recommend it.

For the price, this is good value, with a good property and service. Samad and his team did a wonderful job during my stay yesterday, even though the property was sold out. I enjoyed the camel ride and cultural evening. The evening sound system could be improved, and the cooking oil quality could be better too.

The sunset view was beautiful, and the traditional food was genuinely good, but those were the only real positives. The tents were poorly kept, dirty, and nothing like the Google photos. We were freezing, yet the campfire was only lit for the cultural show, not when guests needed warmth. The music setup and sound system were mediocre and detracted from the evening. We felt more like we were in a hostel with a strict warden than at a hotel, and cut our planned two-night visit to one day. The manager was arrogant and rude: when we arrived hungry in the early evening, we were told bluntly to wait until 7 PM because meals were served at fixed times, with no flexibility or empathy. When tea and snacks finally came, they were pre-plated, and requests for seconds were rudely discouraged. The overall experience was extremely disappointing and far from what was advertised. We wouldn’t recommend or revisit.
