The food was fresh, tasty, and well prepared across all the courses, and the activities kept us busy. We took a bullock cart ride, played different games, and enjoyed an evening bonfire with barbecue. The staff were helpful and courteous throughout, especially Chettri (Reception) and Manoj, who made us feel very welcome. My whole family had a lovely time, including my 2-year-old. It was a wonderful, relaxing getaway.

We especially enjoyed the local food. It was fresh, wholesome, and homely, and each meal was well prepared. The staff were polite, attentive, and caring, and made us feel welcome. Our Native Village Resort also has activities planned for families and kids. With its calm, green surroundings, it’s a lovely place to unwind, feel close to nature, and get a taste of traditional village life while still having good comfort. I’d happily come back.

The restaurant team, especially Mr. Manjunath, took personal care of our group and went out of their way to prepare food to suit our preferences. The meals were excellent in both quality and quantity. We were 12 close families at Our Native Village resort in Hesaraghatta, about a 90-minute drive from Bangalore, and the calm, open setting really did feel like a village. The property was decently maintained, with a clean, well looked-after large pool. Rooms were spacious and neat, though some bathroom fittings and appliances need upgrading. Everyone enjoyed the traditional village-style games and other activities. A relaxing, enjoyable stay with family and friends, and well worth it.

The place was just OK, though the staff were very good and courteous. I really liked the simple, tasty food, its quality, and the service. My one concern is the room given to my driver. It was in a nasty condition, like a small dog room. I had to ask them to clean it and provide a hygienic bed, sheets, and pillows, and even then it was only a stopgap. The owner should provide decent, hygienic rooms for drivers. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity whatever their profession, and I strongly urge the owner to spend a little to make that happen.

The food was decent and filling, though the taste and variety were average and the choices limited, which may not suit guests with more varied tastes. The resort is peaceful and surrounded by nature, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. I had a lovely, relaxing stay at Our Native Village and would recommend it to anyone after a serene getaway.
