Saj Earth Resort Convention Center

The students and staff from Providence School of Business, Chengannur found the visit exciting. The Structured Observation @ M/s. Saj Earth Resorts was arranged for S4 MBA Trainees, who got to see practical examples of management theory through the resort’s operations. The Operations Manager and General Manager explained the different parts of the business clearly, and Saj’s well-organized protocols made the experience informative.

Our room opened straight onto the clean swimming pool, which was exciting, and it was well maintained with all five star amenities. The room itself was also well maintained. The staff were extremely polite, courteous, helpful, and quick to respond when we raised concerns about other guests. Some were rowdy, with children shouting loudly or drunk men staring at us in the pool, but the staff acted promptly and helped us feel safe. Being next to the airport made the property very well connected. All in all, a good experience.

Foya at the main reception deserves a special mention. She was so kind, accommodating, and helpful, and made our stay more pleasant. The property has a serene feel, and the stunning pool was very well maintained and great for unwinding. Hospitality was warm and attentive the whole time. A lovely choice for a peaceful staycation or short getaway. I’d recommend it and would visit again.

The rooms with balconies and direct pool access were the part we enjoyed, and the pool was deep enough for proper swimming. The amenities and rooms themselves were really good, too. But the service didn’t feel like what you’d expect at a 5 star resort. The complimentary tea felt like it was just for show, and breakfast was a fixed menu with very few choices, served to order. The ghee dosa felt like tissue paper. Service was slow and haphazard, and even a 3 star hotel would serve a far better breakfast. The high tea was disappointing too, just tea, coffee, and a few biscuits, with no snacks. It seemed to be mostly flight crew and people on layovers staying there. Everything else was great, but breakfast and tea spoiled the stay and tested our patience. It took almost an hour to finish breakfast because the service was so poor.
