The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout, and the lakefront location gave us lovely scenic views. We stayed at The Carlton Kodaikanal with my husband from 25 February to 28 February, and it was a pleasant visit. The rooms were comfortable, though they felt dated and could use some refurbishment to live up to the hotel's location and reputation. With some room upgrades, the experience could be even better.

The magic show and indoor house games added a lot of fun to our family time, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent in both quality and taste. We stayed at The Carlton, Kodaikanal from 27th to 28th December as a family of 3. Our Lake View Super Deluxe Room was cozy, warm, and comfortable in the cold weather, with a beautiful view and ambiance. Everything from the room to the service felt perfect. Simran and the whole reception team were friendly, helpful, and professional. The resort is one of the best in Kodaikanal for a family stay, and we'd definitely love to visit again.

We visit Carlton every year, and the service is impeccable. There’s no better place to enjoy the view of Kodai Lake. Our kids love the outdoor space, playground, and entertainment centre.

The view is lovely, and the rooms are great. The hotel is nice, too. Ask if you need something, they’ll do what they can to please you. The chef even made a dish for us on request. Just be aware that it isn’t suitable for wheelchair users unless they can manage a few steps. I’d highly recommend it.

We keep choosing The Carlton for its atmosphere and the care the staff show. This New Year’s stay gave us memories we won’t forget. At dinner, Mr. Ravishankar and Mr. Kalai recognized us as regular guests and looked after us so warmly and attentively. Thanks to them, and to the whole The Carlton team for keeping service standards high. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon.
