The food really made this 5-day stay at Srichakra International. Every meal was delicious, proper tummy-happy food. The rooms were standard, okay, but dining was the standout. We also felt genuinely cared for. Santosh, especially, hosted us with incredible attention and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. If you want a stay where you’re well fed and looked after, this is a good choice. Huge thanks to Santosh for making it so special!

The building looks appealing from the outside, but my actual stay was very disappointing. Think carefully before booking, and check the room in person before paying. At ₹3200 per night, this hotel isn’t worth the price. Even a government hostel would give you a much better stay, and the Palakkad Junction dormitory is far superior. The photos I uploaded say plenty.

It’s an old, spacious, once-majestic hotel, but it’s poorly maintained now and doesn’t feel worth it. If you want a good hotel with all amenities, look elsewhere. For a budget-friendly, average stay with just the basics, it’s fine. There’s Wi-Fi and a lift.

I stayed for a week and changed rooms a few times, but the conditions were the same everywhere. The bedsheet they gave me was torn and covered in stains, the lights and fan didn’t work properly, and the bathroom was old and really nasty. There was no maintenance, hygiene, or quality. A very bad experience.

The place looks like it hasn’t been maintained in decades. There were broken comodes inside the property near the entrance, as shown in the photo. The bathroom fosets were broken, the sofas were dirty, the windows wouldn’t close properly, and the bedsheets looked like they had blood on them. Even prisons are in better condition. Worst hotel ever!
